Nikki Roger - EPK

Nikki Roger is the solo project of Belgian musician, producer and songwriter Nikki Roger Armand Kiekens. A multi-instrumentalist with a fully DIY approach, he builds warm, emotionally grounded indie songs from small spaces and everyday moments.

After years in the Belgian indie and punk scene  -including the high-energy band Tien Ton Vuist- he developed a personal sound rooted in limitation as creative strength. All music, visuals and artwork are created independently in his home studio or in the room above his father’s garage.

His debut album Dream On blends lo-fi indie textures with melodic warmth and emotional clarity. Inspired by ’90s indie aesthetics but grounded in the present, the album explores family, memory, love, loss and the value of small moments. The tone is reflective, human and quietly hopeful.

The single Wa Choco distills this philosophy into a hypnotic indie pop mantra. Built around a playful vocal hook (his oldest toddler) and introspective verses, the song invites listeners to slow down, let go of daily pressure and reconnect with the present. Calm, warm and psychedelic-leaning, it functions as both a statement track and a natural entry point into his universe.

The single Beeconnee transforms modern performance pressure into a shimmering indie alternative mantra. Built around the repeated line “Be connected to yourself” and reflective verses shaped by fatherhood and identity, the song invites listeners to soften, slow down and reconnect inward. Hazy, melodic and lightly shoegaze-tinged, it functions as both a gentle reminder and a deeper anchor within his universe.

The album is supported by five DIY music videos featuring VHS-style family footage, fisheye experiments, found-object lenses and travel recordings, forming a cohesive, handmade visual identity.
